Feeding Directions

In November 2000, my mother sent us Maximum Performance minerals for our miniature Dachshund, Skeeter. We were having trouble keeping her weight up to 4 lbs. Then our family rescued Missy, a 2-yr-old Dachshund weighing 12 lbs. Besides being flabby and bloated, her hair coat was a dull red and lacked shine. It was evident that she had been abused and mistreated. Even her eyes were sad. She was extremely fearful of people. After several weeks on Maximum Performance, my husband noticed her coat was becoming shiny, pretty red with a black strip down her back. Now, even her eyes had a shine to them. Approximately six months ago, we began adding Maximum Performance Dog Minerals to our dog's daily diet. Most importantly, we were concerned about the health of Hunter, our ten year old Dual Champion Vizslas. Hunter's health and occasional lameness was the result of contracting lyme disease, valley fever as well as long hard running throughout his career. His mobility was limited and any exercise promote increased lameness. Troubles was attacked by two German Shepherd dogs. He was 15 yrs old at the time and on Maximum Performance. He healed up in two weeks and had to have the staples taken out. Our Rottie, Elijah, slipped on the ice in our driveway in February of 2004 and required cruciate repair on his right rear leg in March. With the help of an excellent orthopedic surgeon and Maximum Performance Vitamins & Supplements Elijah is well on his way to recovery and the road back to agility competition! Maximum Performance has increased Elijah's energy and stamina for the two mile walks we do every evening for rehabilitation. He trots most of the way and does so enthusiastically. We expect to be back in competition the end of this year or beginning of next. We will build up the muscle and stamina slowly and Maximum Performance will give us the boost we need to do that. Elijah is a Champion in UKC Conformation and also holds the four agility titles available in that venue, including the top title of UACHX (Agility Champion Excellent). Elijah was #2 in the country in AGII and AGIII All Stars competition in the 2003 UKC stats. We have also placed 88 times in UKC agility and won multiple High in Trials. Elijah has earned six AKC agility titles, had 8 of the 10 legs needed for MXJ and 5 of the 10 needed for MX before his cruciate injury. Elijah was honored by the ARC (American Rottweiler Club) in 2002 as the #8 Rottweiler in Novice Jumps & Weaves that year. In 2003 Elijah was #18 of 25 top Rotts in the country in MACH points. Elijah has placed 18 times in AKC agility. Aside from giving Elijah the strong bones & ligaments and obvious extra energy that he will need as a working Rottweiler, we have noticed something else. The last two years Elijah had hot spots and we have not had that problem this year. The only thing we are doing different is giving Elijah Maximum Performance every day. We are very happy with the product and recommend it to everyone who wants the best for their dog! February 2005 update on Elijah With the help of a great Ortho Vet, lots of Rehab and Maximum Performance, Elijah recuperated very well from his right cruciate surgery that he had March 1, 2004. We went back to agility class and had hoped to enter trials by November. In October Elijah played with his Lab buddy, Mack, and came in limping on his left leg. Between October and January we had several visits with the Ortho Vet. The cruciate was not torn but the vet said that quite often when one knee is repaired the other will go in the future due to overuse compensating for the surgically repaired one. We continued to rehab and entered an AKC trial in Novice Preferred (rather than Excellent...lower jump height) for Dec 31 and Jan. 1....Elijah had a tremendous weekend...qualified in three of the four runs (dropped a bar in one) and took a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! He was 25 seconds under course time in one of his runs....Four days later the left cruciate tore and surgery was January 10. When Elijah returned home from his March 2004 cruciate surgery on his right knee he was very weak and did not want to come out of his crate to go to the bathroom without a great deal of support. Elijah did not put weight on his right leg for about a week after that surgery, his appetitie was not the best, and he had no spark in his eyes. It was so sad. When Elijah had cruciate surgery on his left knee in January 2005 we had the same wonderful Ortho Vet but this time Elijah was on Maximum Performance. Elijah came home with that beautiful spark in his eyes, his appetite was good, and he came out of his crate to go to the bathroom with no difficulty! Elijah put weight on his left leg that first day home...and his attitude....very upbeat and happy! After eight weeks of crate rest we began our rehab walks. We were able to increase the distance more each day to work up to two to three miles five times a week. Elijah was able to walk further much sooner after this last surgery, and the walk soon developed into a happy trot! Same dog, same surgery same Ortho Vet. The only thing different about this surgery....Elijah is on Maximum Performance. This vitamin and mineral supplement has worked wonders on our working dog.

As a breeder of top quality golden retrievers for 20 years, I have noticed many Improvements in my dogs using Maximum Performance. We always fed PREMUIM Dog food and a daily vitamin supplement. We have always pride our dogs good health, as a reputable breeder. Since July 2002 we started using MP in our breeding program, seeing bigger litters, way more vibrant and strong puppies. Before we had smaller litters, less vibrant, some fatalities. I had a 3 yr old bitch that would not accept a male to breed naturally. We tried 2 heat cycles, she was not receptive at all!!! I had her artificially inseminated (3) days straight, but that did not work. I have never (A.I.) before any of my other goldens. We had her hormone levels checked by a veterinarian, and everything was normal. She still would not accept the male. After starting her on Maximum Performance, sixty days later, the bitch was bred naturally and willingly to one of my studs. She had 12 strong puppies. They were 6 days premature, could not believe a few we noticed were walking on all four legs. It normally takes anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks for them to walk. The puppies were even hard to hold in your hands because they were so strong. All of my dogs have more healthy, vibrant coats, and none of them eat their stool after starting on Maximum Performance.

JRT Mercedes of Poplar Hill Farm: Owned by Susanne Bussie & Austin Waggoner Mercedes has been racing for 4 yrs. and I use Maximum Performance for the extra gear she needs when competing. I find she is able to quickly return to her full strength after a trial taking MP. This March 18th, she competed in Mississippi's River City Jack Russell Trial, and Won the Over Race Champion, beating two males and one female. One male was 2nd at the Nationals this year. When I brought Prince to your grooming facility back in June2003,for his summer haircut, he had a lot of bald patches in his coat. Some quite large. We had been through several months of blood testing and had him on thryroid medicine for three months with no improvement. After talking to you, we decided to put him on Maximum Performance supplement to see if it would help. WOW, in 2 to 3 weeks we were noticing an improvement in his coat. His coat is now growing out and filling in where there was hair loss. He really looks good. My husband and I adopted a black Lab/mix dog from a no-kill shelter in May of 2000. They said he was one yr old and an outside dog that had been misstreated before given to their care. When we arrived home, his energy was quickly drained even when we played with him and his Frisbee. The other condition he had was SHEDDING. I put extra emphasis on this because unlike another dog's occasional hairs where he sleeps, Pepper's shedding came in clumps. Theses clumps were all over the house. Afterword he goes outside, does his business, then comes inside and runs his 10 to 15 laps around our dining room and living room. Since he's been eating the supplement, he's trimmed his weight from 84lbs to 76lbs. Our vet is relly impressed with how his coat now shines, the extra weight loss and his increased level of activity. For me, the one who keeps the house clean, not having to constantly vacuum all that hair is a real "plus" to my life.The most important "plus", though is in the totally positive change in Pepper's overall health. As a soldier in the Army and a combat veteran, I never know when my next deployment might be. My family was in desparate need of the companionship and protection a dog could offer. When I found the dog with the perfect temperment, she was with a military Vetrenarian and had just undergone surgery for a broken hip after being found on a firing range at Fort Jackson weighing under 28 lbs. and half starved. They did not perform the expensive hip replacement, but merely shaved down the jagged edges to stop the immediate pain. She was a beautiful retriever/bloodhound mix. One drawback, she had Awful RED MANGE. She did have a pronounced limp,but wanting a family dog, this didn't concern me. I tried everything to get the Mange in check and being military, the onpost vet helped me the best of his ability perscibing several courses of antibiotics over a period of 3 months. After much searching and reading/hearing every remidy for Red Mange from expensive dips to motor oil (which I would not do), nothing worked. I found Maximum Performance Supplement by accident and thought well " $30 is nothing considering the problem". Within 2 weeks the red mange started to recede and by one month mark it was GONE. Your product is nothing short of a miracle to my best friend. The only drawback is she is impossible to contain, her energy level is perfect and she can clear my six foot privacy fence in a single bound(yes, really! Just ask and I'll send you a picture of that too!) She weighs 56 lbs and her skin is soooo soft. Your product has made our perfect family dog the PERFECT addition to our family.
